Mine and my friends opinions of the horror genre

   

Matty Bland - " I enjoy horror films because it puts me on edge and I enjoy the thrill of the build ups before the jump scares. Also great to watch with friends."

Millie Mangham - " I do not enjoy horror. As I do not enjoy being scared. It also leaves me scared after I've watched the film and I become very on edge."

My opinion of the horror genre. Personally I enjoy horror films for similar reasons to Matty. I enjoy the thrill of it all. I also enjoy the thriller genre because they are more psychological and I feel as though the story line of them can be very interesting. That is a comparison to horror films because one thing I find about them is that the story lines can often be quite repetitive.

Our age fits into the typical target audience of the horror genre which is age 15-20. I think that the typical age that watch horror films is 15-20 because people of younger ages often enjoy thrill more so than the elderly.
