recreating the lights out font

 Looking at different horror film poster fonts. I tried to recreate the Lights Out font. Because i enjoy art work, i wanted to have a go at recreating the font effects i used pencil shading, to create a shadowy effect around the font, low lights and high lights to give the impression of dark and light, i now intend to select a title for my film and design three different fonts. I will start by sketching them but i will also look to explore online fonts before carrying out an audience survey to establish which my target audience are most interested in.

at this early stage in my planning, my target audience are 13 to 15 year old, male and female, c1, c2, with interests in adventure, horror and teen drama. I will ensure i survey 13 to 15 year old, but i will also be interested to see what parents think of the fonts as ultimately they will be the ones bringing their child to the film
