Day in the life

Katie and I worked together to create a realistic video of a day in the life at Ellesmere college. We recorded Millie Mangham throughout the day in different casual situations. The idea of this was mostly to portray Sergei Eisensteins idea of his montage theory. Most of the Soviet filmmakers of the 1920's time period used this kind of montage in their films.

The idea of this theory is to show juxtaposition within the actions during the different shots. It is also to create a very flowing montage with lots of different cuts to different places to portray the full experience and emotion of the film to the audience.
