Preliminary task- Our roles

 

In the team that we were given we had to give roles to each other for the filming of the interview so that everyone had an equal input into the task.

Director- Millie F

Producer- Alex

Interviewer- Amy (me)

Lighting- Will B

Interviewee- Katie

As my role of the interviewer I of course helped when coming up with the questions and deciding the order in which they will be asked in. I also need to memorise the questions so that the interview is fluent. I must figure out a way to phrase the questions correctly so that they give the interviewee a chance to say as much as they can, and I also need to remember to keep eye contact with Katie and try to make her feel as comfortable as possible.

The others in the group helped in writing the questions, then the director and producer were the ones who said cut and action. And also decided what the camera angles should be and whether it looked right. The lighting just included the person holding a boom so that the light shined directly on the face of the interviewee and also to make sure there was no shadows
