First draft for the main photo on my magazine

 This is my first draft for the main photo on my magazine. It is taken in one of my rooms at home and edited on a mobile app called Face App. I tried various different poses but ended up choosing this one as it was closest to the idea that one of my teachers had given me before taking any photos. My original idea was to take the photos in the arts centre at school because it has black background curtains and high standard lighting. However, due to issues with there being no free slots in the art centre I had to take them at home. 

I knew that I definitely wanted a plain background so that the photo was purely just focused on the pose that I was doing so people knew what my documentary was about just from looking at the magazine photos. Due to not having a big enough plain wall in my house I had to make my own using household products. I will upload a blog on how I did that next.
