The set up for photos
As the photos were taken at home and I don’t have a lot of equipment here I had to use things I found around the house to set it up!
To get the backdrop, I used a plain white bed sheet and pinned it up in front of one of the bigger windows in my house. I closed the curtains of the window so that the light didn't shine through too much. I tried to make sure that in the shot you couldn't see anything except me and the white background. To get the lighting was quite difficult. As I had already passed on the professional lighting equipment onto another one of my classmates I had to use what I had at home to my advantage. I used a torch and shined it directly at where my ballet shoe would be in the photo so that you could see the shine of it and it would end up being a very obvious part of the photo. I also basically just used the day light that I had. I knew that I would only have a few hours slot of when it would be bright enough outside so I just made sure it was light enough to see everything clearly.
I then rested my phone against the laptop on top of the small box, set a self timer and took the photos by myself.
